Butterflies and Moths' Habitat:
Valley Floor River Parkways

Utah Valley's main rivers which flow into Utah Lake are the Jordan, American Fork, Provo, Hobble Creek, and Spanish Fork. The habitat along these rivers are filled with willows, cottonwoods, and elms and is conducive to several species of butterflies and moths that would be less common in a non-riparian* habitat.
Note: Riparian is defined as a watercourse.
